Soothing Cucumber Homemade Hand Soap
An all-vegetable soap containing cucumber, a mild cleansing agent and skin toner, and calendula, high in flavonoids, which accounts for much of its anti-inflammatory activity when treating minor skin abrasions. Every summer, when our garden fresh cucumbers are available, we peel them and juice them. There is cucumber all over the place as we make gallons of cucumber juice. We add this juice to the homemade hand soap bar along with other ingredients that are designed to sooth skin.
